A storyteller who has spent two decades across technology, creative media and community building. Today that means books, a 30M+ reach nostalgia community, short films and AI storytelling, wellness workshops, creative and digital work for others, and giving back through social work.
Read the story →A creative and professional identity built over 20+ years across technology, creative media, storytelling, authorship, community building and spiritual exploration.
My work has always lived in two worlds. For more than twenty years I have been the person between the creative idea and the technical team, translating one into the other until something real is delivered.
I grew from research and innovation into project coordination, and then into leading creative media and innovation for large public-sector and institutional initiatives. Along the way I kept making things of my own. In 2011 I started All About 90s Life, a home for the memories of a generation, which has since reached around 30 million people. I made short films for causes I believed in, and in 2015–16 I travelled through rural areas teaching families to use the internet, email and smartphones. That project is still closest to my heart.
Today the canvas is wider. I write books and guided journals, create content and AI stories, mentor startups and companies on their digital journey, and run wellness workshops shaped by my own practice of meditation and Pranic Healing. Different forms, same habit: noticing what matters to people, and giving it a shape they can hold.
A canvas is not one painting. It is the surface that holds many. The name brings books, communities, professional work and an inner journey together, because they all start from the same place: paying attention to people.

Technology can accelerate creation, but the idea, the emotion and the story still have to come from somewhere human.
Writing should not merely fill pages. It should create a moment of pause, reflection or discovery.
Every format, from a journal prompt to a short film, is a story at its core. Find the feeling first, then the form.
Practice makes me a better observer. Creative work gives that observation somewhere to go.
Simple stories inspired by Shri Krishna's timeless wisdom
On the battlefield of Kurukshetra, moments before a great war began, the great archer Arjun lowered his bow, overwhelmed by fear and sorrow. Shri Krishna, his friend and charioteer, listened and spoke with patience and care. That conversation is the Bhagavad Gita.
This book invites children to listen in. Each chapter opens with a moment from the conversation between Arjun and Shri Krishna, then steps into the life of a child today: a speech that feels impossible, an unkind message, an empty seat at lunch. Twelve stories, twelve life lessons. No lectures, just timeless wisdom shared warmly.
A thoughtful gift for children, perfect for reading aloud at home, in classrooms and in libraries.
"I wrote this book for every child who has ever wondered, 'What should I do?' and for the grown-ups who sit beside them."

Retro Journal · from the #AllAbout90sLife series
Going through my old cupboard one day, I found the small things we grew up with. They took me back to the 90s, when the internet was just entering our lives, yet there was a beautiful balance between life and technology.
That balance is what All About 90s Life celebrates. What began as a personal search for those memories, researched from 2010, became a community in 2011 and has since reached around 30 million people who remember it the same way.

During election days, the World Health Organization officially declared India polio-free. Decades of nationwide awareness campaigns had led to this victory, yet the news was lost among political headlines.
The film celebrates India's victory over polio through the eyes of a young girl with a disability, and reminds viewers of another important duty: voting. It was later seen and praised by Shri Amitabh Bachchan.

1, 3 and 5-day programs based on Panchamahabhuta, open to everyone, and experiential workshops for every age group, combining movement, breath, focus, meditation, sound healing and gratitude.
Each program is designed end to end around Panchamahabhuta, the five elements: program design, content and curriculum, and the workshops and experiences inside it. Online or offline.
Breath, movement, sound healing and stillness, in one day away from screens.
Time to settle in, with meditation, reflection, journaling and shared experiences.
A full program with space to practise, reflect and carry the calm back home.
Every program and workshop is designed to help people slow down, feel lighter and return to daily life with more calm.
Slow down and let the body and mind rest.
Breath and movement to release built-up tension.
Fewer racing thoughts, more inner quiet.
Simple practices that steady attention.
Space to notice, express and let go.
Calmer evenings that make rest easier.
Leave feeling lighter, refreshed and renewed.
With yourself, with others and with nature.
Workshops are wellbeing and learning experiences. They are not medical or psychological treatment.
Pranic Healing sessions offered by a practitioner, inclined towards meditation and energy awareness.
Group and one-to-one sessions, conducted by VishalCanvas.
Pranic Healing is a no-touch energy practice. You sit or lie comfortably, fully clothed, while the practitioner works on the energy around the body. Sessions begin and end with a few quiet minutes of breathing.
Anyone who wants to feel calmer, lighter and more balanced, and is curious about energy practices. It complements medical care and never replaces it.
Wear comfortable clothes, drink some water, avoid a heavy meal just before, and keep your phone on silent so you can rest fully.
Meditation is where my day settles. Practices like Pranic Healing, mindful breathing and Vedic wisdom have taught me to notice what is happening inside before reacting to what is happening outside. That habit shapes everything else: the journals I write, the stories I tell and the workshops I run. I share it as a fellow traveller, not as a teacher.
A daily return to stillness, even if only for a few minutes.
Noticing how we feel, and what lifts or drains us.
Old ideas, like those in the Gita, read as practical guidance for everyday life.
Pranic Healing is a complementary practice. It is not a substitute for medical diagnosis or treatment, and no outcomes are promised.
